I just wanted to let you know that I am officially booking sessions for Las Vegas on Nov. 9-11. Please email or call me. Sessions are limited and are booked on a first come basis! I will be in the Henderson and Summerlin area. Just email me or call for more information!!! All orders from these sessions will have cards and prints back for the holidays, if you place your order on time!
And of course, a post without pictures is just no fun. So, let me share with you, one of the sweetest, most darling little boys ever!!! Little E, was just adopted from Ghana by a wonderful family. He had the cutest smile and best disposition. I could of stayed there for hours (well I did kind of wear out my welcome) just taking pictures of him.
Wow, I went away for 9 days and officially came home to fall! For those not in Utah, it doesn't get much prettier here, than this time of year! I love some of the outfit choices that fall brings to. Remember layers and texture look great. I just saw this page at Gap- they are trying to help you all out! It's called "Picture Taking Looks" http://www.gap.com/browse/category.do?cid=37779 .
FALL SESSION UPDATE: All weekend sessions for Utah are booked, except for 1 appointment on Nov. 3rd (weather permiting). You can call an be placed on a waiting list or if you are available during the week, I will be scheduling a limited number of sessions in Davis County.
Yes, I am coming to Vegas for all you patient people who are calling and emailing. I will be contacting you first with the open appointments! I will be in Las Vegas on Nov. 9-10.
I wasn't even up in the mountains for these fun colors....
These pictures don't show the beautiful fall colors, but a beautiful relationship between a mother and her children.
...and here they are! Not only are they beautiful, this family is so sweet, polite and talented! While taking their photos I did realize how much I talk to children when I take their pictures. Only the oldest two children and mom spoke English, so we had fun communicating during the shoot!
Also, thanks to all my wonderful and patient clients! I know I wasn't available for a while, but I am back now and ready to help you!

Lancelot- he loved having his picture taken. He kept coming back for more! That doesn't happen very often with boys!

Last one...
...in a word, my trip to Paris! It goes with out saying that Paris is beautiful and awe inspiring, but our trip was enhanced by making memories with our dear friend Laurence. The fabulous and talented Laurence (see some of her paintings below) spent so much time showing us Paris through her eyes and was so much fun to be around! Of course, there was lots of shopping, a few museums, lots of croissants and bread ( and thankfully walking!) and fabulous company! A few other highlights were the Monet waterlillies, Tuileries Garden, Le Bon Marche and chocolate soufflé. One wonderful afternoon was spent in the company of three very accomplished women and mothers (26 children between all of us!). So a gracious thank you to our lovely hostess, Adelaide. These women are talented artists and authors! For fun check out some of Adelaide's books http://www.amazon.fr/s/ref=nb_ss_/171-4629753-2089010?__mk_fr_FR=%C5M%C5Z%D5%D1&initialSearch=1&url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=adelaide+d%27andigne and Veronique's book http://www.amazon.fr/Tout-pour-No%C3%ABl-D%C3%A9coration-Accessoir/dp/283070956X/ref=sr_1_1/171-0188329-0257873?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1192412629&sr=1-1. A perfect conclusion of the trip was spending the afternoon in the countryside at the home of Laurence. We had a delicious lunch (and even sampled foie gras), a photo session with some BEAUTIFUL french children and enjoyed an impromptu piano concert by Titien, her 15 year old son. He is brilliant musician. So enough talking, here are some pictures from the trip!
The yummy macaroons and pastries! The Louvve, unfortunately it was a cloudy day. But we did have super weather! The amazing and beautiful paintings of Laurence! These photos don't do them justice, they are GORGEOUS in person! Laurence's beautiful home in the country. Some fabulous women and friends! Tracy, Laurence, Adelaide, me, Debbie (back) and Veronique. OK, this is a long post- so the beautiful, french children will be posted soon!
